In December 2009 the Makris Group purchased the $100 million Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre in Melbourne. This sub-regional centre is anchored by Woolworths, Big W, Coles, Aldi and Dan Murphy's and has approximately 100 specialty shops.

The $50 million expansion of the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre in Adelaide's southern suburbs was completed in June 2009 and was officially opened by The Honourable Mike Rann MP, Premier of South Australia on 28 September 2009. The centre is now anchored by Woolworths, Big W and Foodland with approximately 75 speciality shops.

The proposed development at 88 O'Connell Street, North Adelaide has been approved as a Major Project by the South Australian Government. Planning for this project is well under way with project consultants appointed.

Outback Jacks Bar & Grill has opened two restaurants within the Makris Group portfolio with one at Marina Pier Glenelg and one at Restaurants on One at North Adelaide Village.

In July 2009 development consent was granted by Fairfield Council for the expansion of Bonnyrigg Plaza in western Sydney. Makris Group is currently in planning for the commencement of this development.
