The $50 million redevelopment of the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre was completed in June 2009 and officially opened in September 2009.

The centre is located in the fast growing southern suburbs of Adelaide. The redeveloped Hallett Cove Shopping Centre is now a sub-regional shopping centre of approximately 18,600 square metres. A new Woolworths Supermarket, a new Big W Discount Department Store and a refurbished Foodland Supermarket are the major tenants. The new centre also features 75 specialty stores, a new food court and undercover parking.

In December 2009 a new free standing McDonald's restaurant also opened at the centre.
